Autumn leaves point our thoughts and prayers to that threshold between life, death and new life.
Autumn leaves point our thoughts and prayers to that threshold between life, death and new life.

These are days for meandering with hope.

Individuals, families and communities make time in these November days to visit the resting places of the earthly remains of deceased family members, neighbours and friends. The scriptures tell us that “it is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead”.

Of course, these steps are also taken with thoughts for ourselves and our destiny. “Where they have gone, we hope to follow.”

May all our loved ones rest in eternal peace, may they watch over and guide us and may the good Lord reunite us all in his home one day.
