It’s been a while since I posted. A lot has happened since.

Key items to note are the Silver Jubilee of my Ordination which I celebrated in late May with family, friends and neighbours. I was really privileged to know and experience the kindness and support of so many people.

Then a few weeks later, Bishop Buckley appointed me to a new post in the diocese. My term as Director of Pastoral Planning ended and I was to become Parish Priest of Enniskeane and Desertserges parish. The good thing is it is in West Cork — near to my home place and near family and friends. A bit further away from my friends in the city, though.

All that was followed by a house move, packing, lifting, learning and floundering! I am now living in Enniskeane with over a month and have been warmly welcomed by the parishioners. Hopefully, I’l try and keep up with the blob a bit more!
